Honoring a Legacy. Supporting the Future.

From 1983 to 2013, David Foster brought energy, passion, and talent to the Tred Avon Players—serving not only as a president and director, but most memorably, as an actor who lit up our stage. Offstage, he shared his love of theatre with students across the community, teaching acting and stagecraft in local schools.

Following David’s passing, Fiona Foster stepped into the spotlight in her own right—directing numerous productions and leading TAP as Executive Director. Together, their impact on our theatre family and the wider community was extraordinary.

To celebrate their remarkable legacy, Tred Avon Players proudly offers the Foster Educational Scholarship to support students who share their passion for theatre and are continuing their education after high school.

🎓 About the Scholarship

• Open to students who have participated in at least one TAP production—on stage or behind the scenes.

• Award amounts range from $50 to $1,000.

• Applications are reviewed by the TAP Board of Directors, and all decisions are final.
