Covid 19 Policy

Tred Avon Players takes health and safety very seriously - for our cast, crew, volunteers, and audience. Due to the current transmissibility of the Delta and Omicron variants, TAP determined that a vaccination and mask policy is needed at the present time to protect those in our community who are vulnerable, including immunocompromised patrons, older patrons, and children. It also provides an additional level of protection for the actors who have worked so hard to bring our stories to life, and reduces the risk of having to suspend a production due to illness.

Until further notice, to gain access to our productions, each ticket holder will need to provide proof of vaccination (your completed vaccination card, or a photo of your vaccination card, or an official digital card, available at MD.MyIR.net) and a corresponding photo ID, along with a valid ticket. Children aged five to 17 will not be required to have a photo ID. Masks will be required during indoor performances, unless actively eating or drinking. Masks are required when moving about during outdoor performances, they can be removed while seated. Children under five must wear masks at all times, unless seated outside. Seating will be limited to 100 chairs to allow safe distancing.

This policy is consistent with other local and regional venues. We will continue to re-evaluate this policy for each upcoming production with the goal of returning to normal operations as quickly as possible.
