2008 SEASON

“Broadway’s Best III” The third in Ed Langrell’s always-sold-out series of crowd-pleasing revues of everyone’s favorite Broadway tunes, but with a delightful difference!
Act I -‘Prelude to a Musical’ is an original (book & lyrics by David Foster) comedy showing the vanities and vagaries of a typical community theatre audition as the usual turn-out of talented and untalented hopefuls show their stuff. Directed by Beth Fileger, Act II -‘And Here It Is!’ displays the result of director Ed Langrell’s skill in bringing a smashing musical revue onto the stage. Not to be missed!
February 15-17, 22-14, 28-March 2

“Sylvia” by A. R. Gurney, directed by Fiona Foster – a riotous, touching, immensely entertaining comedy about the eternal triangle, man, wife and dog. An all-time Broadway hit, “Sylvia” played to sellout houses in 1998 and is brought back by literally hundreds of requests. TAP’s first-ever revival!
May 2-4, 9-11, 16-18

“Acting Out!” Six Short Plays” – short, sassy, plays selected and produced by Robyn Mendelsohn & Steve Clyburn, featuring new directors – a light summer theatrical smorgasbord with something for every taste and palate.
August 15-17, 22-24, 29-31

“Angel Street” by Patrick Hamilton, directed by Christine Valeo, produced by Mariana Lescher – a classic chilling psychological mystery, later known as the film suspense thriller “Gaslight”, put together by two of our most experienced TAP members. A perfect show for the Halloween season.
October 24-26, 31-November 2, 7-9
